Access to BRITEPath

BRITEPath is available at no charge for clinicians and providers.  The ETUDES Center provide training materials about how BRITE can be used with patients.  These resources for clinicians include:

  • Online training videos and follow up surveys to assess training proficiencies
  • A step-by-step guide for developing a personalized safety plan, with instructions on how to load the app on the youth’s phone and populate it.
  • The option to print out a completed safety plan that can be scanned in the electronic health record
  • A secure clinician dashboard that shows frequency of youth app use, the type of strategies youths have chosen to use, and distress rating before and after the youth has used each strategy.
    • The clinician dashboard includes an optional self-assessment feature, which can launch questionnaires pertaining to depression, anxiety and suicidal risk to the adolescent’s app at the time of scheduled visit. Responses to these questionnaires are tracked over time on the dashboard resources for patients and families
  • A personalized safety plan for the teen that encourages the daily practice of emotion regulation skills
  • An informational printout about safety planning and the teen’s safety plan for parents.
